Two young people can gain practical knowledge and experience during their voluntary internship at RJ Lasertechnik GmbH. The two students are introduced to the different work areas by employees. But they also get the chance to actively participate if they want to.
During her two-week trainee program, high school student Hannah passes through different work areas in the office as well as in production and had the opportunity to lend a hand herself. She was particularly impressed by "the variety and diversity of the work in the different areas".
Vincent, who wants to study to become a mechanical engineer after school, is currently in Year 11 EF (introductory phase) at the comprehensive school. He also likes the fact that he is shown a lot, but that he can also help out himself. For him, it was particularly impressive to experience "the difference between school and real work".
Ralf Risters from the management of RJ Lasertechnik GmbH would also like to promote internships in the company in the future, because "we want to provide insight into the working world, but also interest young people in our activities and our company."
