RJ Lasertechnik specializes in laser technology. In addition to laser cutting, laser welding, laser drilling and laser marking, we also specialize in the construction of customer-specific laser systems.

2023

Introduction of shift operation, number of employees increases to 52. Installation of a further 3D welding system with robot for automated assembly.

2022

Expansion of the clean room area to include a test room (35 square meters) and an area for linear motor welding (85 square meters). Construction of several special machines for in- house production, investments of several million euros; number of employees increases to 36.

2021

Start of series production in the clean room of high-quality assemblies for semiconductor technology; number of employees increases to 30.

Jürgen Jannsen leaves the company and Helge Schaper (pictured) takes over his shares and the management.

2020

Introduction of a new "6=8" working time model during the coronavirus pandemic, which is being retained due to its high level of efficiency.

2019

Construction of a certified class 8 clean room with 85 m² for high-quality welding work in a controlled environment. Construction of a 3D laser welding system for the clean room.

2016

Construction of a "clean room for laser welding" as a test project.

2007 - 2015

Continuous development of the company and expansion of the service and plant engineering divisions; number of employees increases to 26.

2005 - 2006

Construction of various finishing areas such as pickling, electropolishing, vibratory finishing, glass blasting, etc.

2003 - 2004

Ground-breaking ceremony for the new building at Boschstrasse 20 in Übach-Palenberg in 2003 and relocation to the company's own building with 400 square meters of office space and 1100 square meters of production space in April 2004.Takeover of the company High-Tech Laserbeschriftungen GmbH.

2001

Continuous expansion of services and mechanical engineering; number of employees increases to 20.

1997

Move to a larger building with 120 square meters of office space and 450 square meters of production space.

1996

Order for the production of diabetic pens leads to an increase in the team to 10 employees.

1993

Receipt of the first machine order from Switzerland for a laser fineblanking machine.

Foundation of RJ Lasertechnik GmbH by J. Jannsen and R. Risters as a spin-off of the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology Aachen.
